Students working towards their QCE may undertake recognised studies in addition to QCAA subjects and/or vocational education and training qualifications.
Recognised studies are courses of study that have been recognised by the QCAA as being eligible to contribute credit to the QCE.
When a student completes a recognised study, the recognised provider reports the results to the QCAA and, when eligible, QCE credits are banked in the student’s learning account.
For a course of study to be recognised by the QCAA, it must meet a set of quality criteria and is subject to ongoing quality assurance processes. This ensures that all recognised studies continue to meet the standard of learning required to contribute to the QCE and the credibility of the qualification is maintained.
This section provides lists of QCE recognised studies and information about applying for recognition.
