Gifted and talented education is a diverse and continually evolving area. In this context, ‘gifted’ may be defined as relating to natural abilities, and ‘talented’ as relating to systemically developed skills.
Gifted and talented students vary in the nature and level of their abilities — they are not a homogeneous group.
