The Year 10 Guidelines provide information and advice for planning and delivery of challenging and engaging courses in a range of school settings and for different groups of students.
The Guidelines were first released in January 2009, and a revised second edition was released in June 2009. An overview of the Year 10 Guidelines, relevant learning area extracts and learning options and advice are provided separately.

Each learning area extract includes information on how the learning areas are organised, planning courses of study, assessment advice and specific information for one learning area that links Years 1-9 to Years 10-12.

Past curriculum
Queensland courses that overlap significantly with the Australian Curriculum courses will cease to be offered. All Queensland schools are now teaching, assessing and reporting using the Australian Curriculum in English, Mathematics, Science and History. However, past curriculum will continue to be a valuable resource.
