Amendments have been made to the Marine Science General Senior Syllabus 2019 v1.3 to strengthen and clarify assessment guidance for Units 1 and 2.
Unit 1 assessment guidance
The assessment guidance has been amended to suggest that student performance on Unit 1 is assessed using a student experiment and an examination that includes some items modelled on the data test.
Unit 2 assessment guidance
The assessment guidance has been amended to suggest that student performance on Unit 2 is assessed using a research investigation and an examination that includes some items modelled on the data test.
The Marine Science General Senior Syllabus 2019 v1.3 and associated resources are available in the QCAA Portal. A PDF of the syllabus is also available on the QCAA website.
