Notice 063/22
Amendments have been made to the Visual Art Alternative Sequence 2019 v1.1 to strengthen and clarify content and assessment requirements.
AS unit 2: Art as lens
Subject matter has been updated, replacing references to ‘alternate’ with ‘different lenses’ in terms of representations (see Area of study: Developing and Area of study: Resolving).
Summative internal assessment 3 (AS U2 IA3): Project — inquiry phase 3 (35%)
Assessment objectives 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7 have been modified to remove references to ‘alternate’.
The instrument-specific marking guide has been amended to align with changes to Assessment objectives 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7.
Summative external assessment (EA): Examination (25%)
The planning time for the examination has been amended to 20 minutes to ensure alignment with the suite of General syllabuses in The Arts.
