Amendments have been made to the Specialist Mathematics General Senior Syllabus 2019.
Summative internal assessment 1 (IA1): Problem-solving and modelling task
Assessment objectives 1, 2 and 6 have been amended to align with the Unit 3 Topics 2 and/or 3 subject matter requirements as outlined in the assessment description.
The assessment objectives of the instrument-specific marking guide for the Formulate and Solve criteria have also been amended to reflect this change.
The Specialist Mathematics General Senior Syllabus 2019 (v1.2) and associated resources are available in the QCAA Portal. A PDF of the syllabus is also available on the QCAA website.
