Amendments have been made to the Dance General Senior Syllabus 2019.
Summative internal assessment 1 (IA1): Performance
Supporting evidence in the specifications of the assessment has been modified.
The conditions of the assessment have been amended to include submission information.
Summative internal assessment 2 (IA2): Choreography
The conditions of the assessment have been amended to include submission information.
Summative internal assessment 3 (IA3): Project — dance work
Assessment objective 5 has been modified to provide further clarity of the assessment requirements.
In the specifications of the assessment, the description, supporting evidence and conditions have been amended to provide greater clarity of the assessment requirements. In the conditions, submission information has also been included.
The instrument-specific marking guide has been amended to align with changes to Assessment objective 5.
Unit 3
One of the inquiry questions has been modified to provide more guidance for teachers.
Unit objective 3 has been modified.
Subject matter has been updated to reflect the changes in the inquiry question and unit objective.
The Dance General Senior Syllabus 2019 (v1.1) and associated resources are available in the QCAA Portal. The syllabus is also available on the QCAA website.
