Amendments have been made to the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Studies General Senior Syllabus 2019.
Summative internal assessment 1: Examination — extended response
The specifications of the task have been amended to ensure consistency across the syllabus.
The instrument-specific marking guide has been amended for all assessable criteria to better describe the evidence required.
Summative internal assessment 2: Investigation — inquiry response
The specifications of the task have been amended for clarity.
The instrument-specific marking guide has been amended for all assessable criteria to better describe the evidence required.
Summative internal assessment 3: Investigation — inquiry response
The specifications of the task have been amended for clarity.
The instrument-specific marking guide has been amended for all assessable criteria to better describe the evidence required.
Assessment guidance
Unit 1 and Unit 2 guidance has been amended to support schools, especially those that may decide to implement a concurrent delivery model.
Subject matter
Subject matter has been modified as follows:
- Unit 4 Topic 2: Reconciliation and recognition — subject matter for ‘identify responses’ amended to avoid confusion.
Reporting standards
The A reporting standard has been amended to align with changes to the instrument-specific marking guides.
