Amendments have been made to the Design General Senior Syllabus 2019.
Summative internal assessment 1: Examination — design challenge
The specifications of the examination have been amended to better describe the requirements for the student response.
The instrument-specific marking guide has been amended in the Devising and Representing and communicating criteria to better describe the evidence required.
Summative internal assessment 2: Project
The instrument-specific marking guide has been amended in the Devising criterion.
Summative internal assessment 3: Project
The assessment objectives of the project have been amended to better align with the unit subject matter.
The specifications have been amended to better describe the requirements for the student response.

The objectives of the examination have been amended to better align with the unit subject matter.
The specifications have been amended to better describe the requirements for the student response.
Objectives
The following have been modified:
- Syllabus objective 1 — explanatory paragraph amended
- Unit 4 objectives — edits to objectives 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6.
Reporting standards
The A–E reporting standards have been amended to reflect the modifications to the instrument-specific marking guides.
Glossary
Glossary terms have been updated to align with other subjects in the Technologies learning area.
