To help kindergartens prepare to implement the QKLG 2024, the QCAA will host free face-to-face workshops statewide from September to October 2024.

The QKLG 2024 will be implemented in Queensland kindergarten services from January 2025.

Teachers will use the QKLG 2018 to complete transition statements for kindergarten children transitioning to Prep in 2025.

The QKLG 2024 will not be used for the creation of transition statements until 2025.

During Semester 2, 2024 the QCAA is hosting face-to-face sessions for familiarisation and planning with the QKLG 2024. Please register for a session in your region.

Teachers and services can also view the updated QKLG 2024 page to understand and plan for the revised QKLG.
