Casual positions
NAPLAN markers
Each year, the QCAA employs and trains practising and non-practising or retired Queensland teachers to mark student responses to the NAPLAN writing tests. Experienced and new markers from Queensland are welcome to apply. For more information and to apply, see NAPLAN marker information.
QCAA assessors
The QCAA employs and trains Queensland teachers to help develop and quality assure internal and external assessment. There are four assessor roles:
- QCAA assessor (endorsement)
- QCAA assessor (confirmation)
- QCAA assessor (external assessment writing)
- QCAA assessor (external assessment marking).

External assessment invigilators
